Tang Soo Do teaches mental and physical training which involves the application of co-ordinated agility, dynamic mobility, power, whole body endurance, flexibility and special awareness to complex body movements.
Tang Soo Do is suitable for both sexes from the age of three upwards and provides a firm basis for personal advancement, fitness and health. Tang Soo Do adheres to the traditional path of self control by instilling self discipline and social responsibility in its members.
IN TODAY'S SOCIETY
There is no doubt that martial arts training is on the rise and that people are becoming more interested in learning self-defense skills. Tang Soo Do is an extremely effective method of self-defense. But there are many other reasons why men, women and children from all walks of life have taken up Tang Soo Do training. This ancient form of martial art is known for having the most effective training methods for self-discipline, self-confidence, physical fitness, stress management and the ultimate form of self-defense techniques.
We are seeking to develop the body in conjunction with the mind, not for its own sake, but for the benefit for others. When one has good physical and mental health, he or she can be more dedicated to the family, the Nation, and even the World. Tang Soo Do can and should be a way of thought and life, in which one puts aside himself for the good of everyone around him.
"Perfect practice makes perfect,''
and perfection only comes if you work for it. If you are willing to
dedicate yourself to the study of Tang Soo Do, you will reap the
physical, spiritual, and mental benefits that come along with it.
